Protesters rally outside Labour Party Conference
Opposition protesters gathered outside the Labour Party Conference in Birmingham today.
Ed Miliband was unveiling Labour's election pledge card to around 1500 party members at the spring rally.
Conservative MP Michael Gove was there to speak to the media about Labour's announcements, but local activists took the chance to fire questions at him.
Protesters outside the conference were speaking out against austerity measures, and said Labour may not be offering an adequate alternative. The pledge card Miliband unveiled sets out five promises to voters:
A strong economic foundation
Higher living standards for working families
An NHS with the time to care
Controls on immigration
A country where the next generation can do better than the last.
With 54 days to go until the general election, there will be plenty more back and forth as the parties try to win votes.
