Jailed: Men who bottled and robbed shopkeepers

Two men who hit Darlaston shopkeepers over the head with bottles before robbing them in broad daylight have been jailed for five and a half years.

Darren Goulbourne, 33 from Hillside Road in Great Barr, Birmingham, and Christopher Donnelly, 32 from The Furlong in Wednesbury, were both sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday.

The pair targeted the Convenience Store on Glyn Avenue on May 26 and News & Booze on Wednesbury Road on June 2. Both crimes were committed at around 10.30am.
