Sam Bailey has been dropped by Simon Cowell's record label Syco - just 14 months after winning The X Factor.

She confirmed the news to her fans on Twitter.

In December, she revealed her contract had come to an end and they were in the middle of re-negotiations.

After winning the 2013 series of The X Factor, she was number one in the singles charts with her debut single Skyscraper.

Her first album, The Power Of Love, sold over 70,000 copies in its first week.
