Derbyshire CCC ask for council support over further ground development plans

Plans to develop Derbyshire County Cricket Club's County Ground have been submitted to the cabinet at Derby City Council.

The club hope to build on a current £1million investment into a new cricket centre of excellence, by adding a conference and events venue by April This year.

The plans also include upgraded members' facilities, and a further £3million of facilities by summer 2017. These include a new media centre, floodlight upgrades and improved spectator facilities.

The Council Cabinet will meet on Wednesday 21st January.
