In Pictures: Heavy snowfall causes travel disruption across the East Midlands
The Met office has issued a yellow warning for ice across the East Midlands today as temperatures struggle to get above freezing.
Travel has been affected across most of the country.
Around two thousand homes across the East Midlands were without power at around 11.30 this morning, after snow hit most of the region last night.
Workers at East Midlands Airport were clearing snow from the runway for most of the night to make sure that flights were able to operate as normal.
