Wards closed at Warwick hospital after Norovirus outbreak
Five wards are closed to visitors at Warwick hospital after an outbreak of the highly contagious winter vomiting bug norovirus.
Nearly all other adult wards have been forced to limit their visiting hours at the hospital.
Two other hospitals in the region have also been hit by the bug - Alexandra in Redditch and Ellen Badger in Warwickshire.
Outbreaks of norovirus are common at this time of the year and mostly cause bouts of diarrhoea and vomiting for one to three days.
However, the virus can affect the vulnerable far more seriously and can pose dangers to the elderly and sick.
