Wet, Windy and Mild Tonight

Rain is on the way and it could be heavy at times overnight. It will also be windy, which means it won't feel pleasant. Temperatures will stay above freezing with lows of around 3c in the north of the Midlands. Around 5c elsewhere.

By rush hour tomorrow the rain should have cleared through and the cloud. So we will see some much missed sunshine.

Temperatures take a knock on Friday. Expect to see highs of around 8c by the middle of the afternoon. Compared to todays maximum of 13 that seems cool. However it will be brighter with lighter winds and drier too so it will feel better.

The weekend has two halves. Brighter and cooler on Saturday, milder and wetter on Sunday.

Of course it is Christmas next week and everyone has started asking if it will snow. My blog tomorrow will be all things white Christmas!
