Text Santa - three more of this year's beneficiaries
This week we're building up to ITV's annual Christmas programme, Text Santa. On Friday night there will be a star studded show to raise money for six chosen UK charities.
All this week on ITV News Central, we've been showing you how the money donated will be used.
Here we feature the work of the Teenage Cancer Trust. The charity funds specialist wards designed to make hospital life more bearable for young people dealing with cancer. Nancy Cole reports:
Another beneficiary this year is the Marie Curie Cancer Care. They run a Helper Service which provides companionship to them, in the form of a specially trained volunteer, for a few hours a week.
Nancy Cole's been to find out how it helps those in need:
This year Text Santa is also helping those with Dementia. The number of people with dementia is steadily increasing in the UK. Alzheimers is the most common cause of it, with more than half a million people living with the condition in this country.
The Alzheimer's Society works with families who've had a diagnosis, providing one to one support and advice.
Nancy Cole's been to Derby to find out more about their work:

All money donated to Text Santa is distributed equally between the six charities.
