‘Edward Scissorhands’ actor’s daughter wants cake of father

The daughter of an actor who appeared as the old inventor in the iconic 1990 film Edward Scissorhands has asked a Birmingham food artist to make a cake of his face.

Vincent Price’s daughter has commissioned Annabel de Vetten-Paterson to create the cake so she can present it to his greatest fan in the UK – the founder of the Vincent Price Fan Club.

The recreation of Price's role in the Hollywood hit has proved to be one of Annabel's most popular lines.

Vincent Price died aged 82, just three years after making Edward Scissorhands alongside Johnny Depp.

He also appeared in House on the Haunted Hill, The Raven and the original version of The Fly in the 1940s.
