Mass killer living under new identity caught with guns and bombs
A mass killer who shot dead five people has admitted harassing his neighbour after being caught with guns and bombs whilst living under a new identity.
70-year-old Harry Street was arrested at his home in Hazelville Road, Hall Green, last October by detectives investigating claims he'd been harassing him for four years.
They discovered his real name was Barry Williams, who in 1978 carried out the shootings in West Bromwich, where he targeted neighbours following a similar dispute. He then drove to a petrol station and shot dead the married couple who owned it.
The former Broadmoor patient, who was released 20 years ago, was found to have guns, home-made bullets and even a homemade bomb in his house.
This morning at Birmingham Crown Court he admitted one charge of making an IED and has earlier admitted to several other charges.
