A rescue dog named Lucy has become an internet sensation after her owner set-up a Facebook page for her to highlight the dangers of puppy farming.
The cavalier spaniel has 2,000 followers on the social media site which tells Lucy's story of how she was rescued from the squalor of a puppy farm.
Her owner 35-year-old Lisa Garner from Studley, in Warwickshire, runs a dog boutique firm and adopted Lucy in March last year, after seeing her picture on a Welsh rescue centre’s website.
Lucy was named “Most Heroic Hound” award at the NEC National Pet Show.
