A video has been posted revealing that a 5-year-old boy from Leicestershire has had a heart transplant after posting his own unique version of the ice bucket challenge.

Albert Tansey from Burbage cannot get cold because he was born with half a heart so instead of throwing ice cold water over his head he has thrown bean-bag balls over himself.

In the video Albert asks people to join the donor register.

Since then, an additional video has been posted of Albert in hospital along with the caption "I've got a bit of news I need to share, not sure how this happened, destiny? Incredible coincidence? A miracle? But I'd like to think it's because of all you wonderful people out there."
