The life of Notts County's Arthur Clamp killed in WW1
800,000 British soldiers were killed during the Great War - it left a generation decimated . No area of life was left untouched.
Our correspondent Steve Clamp has been researching his great-grandfather Arthur Clamp, a former professional footballer with Notts County, who was fatally injured just days after reaching the front.
Whilst researching his great-grandfather's past there was also a moment caught on camera where beside his grave Steve found a missing piece of the family jigsaw.
It was thought his great-grandmother Annie Clamp was not on the headstone.
