Midlands Weather: Weather Warnings and Thunderstorms

The Met Office has issued weather warnings across The Midlands for Saturday for heavy, thundery showers. We could also see lightening and hail.

The warning is for right across the Midlands but not everyone will see the thundery downpours and there will still be sunny spells. Where the showers are intense we could see two inches of rainfall in one hour.

That should not let us forget that we are expecting the hottest day of the year so far in the East Midlands on Friday. It is an interesting few days weather wise.
