Space Centre send mascot 21 miles above the earth

A miniature mascot has been sent into orbit by bosses at the National Space Centre in Leicester.

The character, known as '2.0' was attached to a weather balloon and a camera and was sent on a two hour journey.

The mission was launched as part of celebrations to mark 13 years since the centre opened.
