Blind duck helped around by fellow 'guide duck'

A duck who is completely blind now has the help of a guide duck to get around.

The twenty year old duck, known as Mrs Grey, lost her sight a couple of months ago and kept banging into things.

But then one day she started following the quack of another duck and since then has been guided around.

Her owner, from Feckenham in Worcestershire, said:

"She used to roam around by herself and then she attached herself to this other duck.

"He chatters to her constantly and she follows him around everywhere. It's given her a new lease of life as she no longer bumps into things.

"She has found a friend for life. They're completely inseparable. Everywhere he goes she's one step behind."
