Students attacked by 'racist' swans on their way to lectures

Students at Warwick University are having a few problems on their way to lectures of late, for fear of being attacked by swans.

The birds – who are going through their breeding season – are said to be behaving particularly aggressively on the University's campus in Coventry.

One 24-year-old student has been capturing images of the swans confronting terrified students.

One particular swan is standing guard on a footbridge near the lakeside student accommodation and barring humans from crossing.
