Injured horse rider appeals for driver to come forward
A horse rider from Sedgley near Dudley, who says she was hit at speed by a skip lorry, is appealing to the driver and any witnesses to come forward.
Claire Macmanomy says the driver stopped to collect his wing mirror - and then left without leaving any details.
She spent a month in hospital after the accident and still wears a back brace for 16 hours a day.
Claire broke three vertebrae, bruised her back, shoulders, arms, and elbows, and currently takes nearly 50 tablets a day.
The incident happened just before 15:00 on 7th February, on the Gospel End Road in Gospel End Village, near Sedgley in South Staffordshire.
Claire's friend, who witnessed the alleged incident says:
The horse was cut on her legs, and was lucky not to lose an eye.
The women want the driver and any witnesses to come forward, so they can move on with their lives
