Spitting Image: behind the scenes

In 1992 Central News met the team behind Spitting Image. The report done by Wesley Smith features interviews with puppeteers, producers and impressionists.

Jon Lloyd, Producer of Central programme Spitting Image, described it in 1984 as a cross between satirical news programme Not The Nine O'clock News and children's show The Muppets. He also demonstrates how close he's got to the Queen during their joint interview!
