RAF Avionics Technician based at RAF Cosford, Shropshire, has qualified to represent Team GB at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Corporal Stuart Benson, 32, will be a member of the GB1 4-man bobsleigh team event in Russia.

The GB1 4-man bobsleigh team are in good form after winning a Bronze medal at the World Championships and a Silver in the European Championships at the end of January.

The Winter Olympics are officially opened on Friday 7th February.
