Flood warnings and alerts: The full list

A total of 18 flood warnings have been issued across the region, alerting people that flooding is expected and immediate action is needed.

The full list is as follows:

River Severn

  • River Severn at Pitchcroft, north Worcester

  • River Severn at Chaceley and Haw Bridge, including Tirley and Town Street

  • River Severn at Abbots Court, Deerhurst

  • River Severn at Ashleworth

  • River Severn at Clifton and Severn Stoke

  • River Severn at East Waterside, Upton-upon-Severn

  • River Severn at Hanley Castle and Saxons Lode, including properties next to the river

  • River Severn at Hanley Road, Upton-upon Severn

  • The Showground and The Quarry, Shrewsbury

  • South Worcester

  • Court Meadow, Kempsey and Callow End

  • Apperley and The Leigh

  • Severn Ham, Tewkesbury, including Abbey Mill, Upper and Lower Lode and Shakespeare Court

River Avon

  • Evesham

  • Twyning

  • Strensham and Bredon

  • Wyre Piddle

  • Pershore and Wick

The Environment Agency has also issued 15 flood alerts, warning people that flooding is possible, have also been placed across the region.

Flood alerts urge people to stay alert and be prepared to take action if needed.

These have been issued for the following areas:

  • Burton Trent, between Kings Bromley to Clay Mills

  • Middle Avon, between Rugby and Bidford

  • River Avon in Worcestershire

  • River Leam and River Itchen, between Granborough and Leamington including the Lilbourne and Clay Coton areas

  • Upper Avon, River Swift, and Clay Coton Brook

  • River Trent in Derbyshire, including tributaries

  • River Severn in Worcestershire

  • River Severn in Gloucestershire

  • River Severn in Shropshire

  • Lower River Soar in Leicestershire, including tributaries

  • River Lugg, south of Leominster

  • Rivers Tern, Perry, Roden, Strine and Meese and their tributaries

  • River Wye in Gloucestershire

  • River Wye in Herefordshire

  • Seven Vyrnwy Confluence
