ITV News Central captured three different aircraft attempting to land at Birmingham Airport in today's tricky weather conditions.

This passenger aircraft (see video below) approaches the landing strip at Birmingham Airport. But with just a few feet before landing, decides to pull out due to the strong gales.

A second (video below) decides to brave the strong winds and manages to land safely.

A third plane (video below) from Edinburgh did not even approach the strip - instead choosing to return to where it came from.
