Text Santa: How money raised will help Age UK

Age UK has held three Christmas dinners this year at Clarence House in Leicester. Volunteers from local banks and police stations were there to be the waiters and waitresses.

They provide a range of services, from money advice sessions and help with benefit claims, to computer courses.

As our population gets older, Age UK's workload will inevitably increase.

Many pensioners today struggle with the cost of living and social isolation.

The money raised by Text Santa will help Age UK continue to run their services and to champion the cause of our increasingly older population.
