Official singles chart shows Sam heading for Christmas No.1 spot
Sam Bailey is currently sitting in the number one spot in the mid-week chart rankings with her single Skyscraper, according to the Official Charts Company.
Pharrell Williams is at number two, while the protest camp have boosted AC/DC to fifth in the festive race.
At midnight last night more than 67,000 copies of Skyscraper had been downloaded in the UK, two-and-a-half times more than Pharrell Williams' Happy.
The cut-off point will be midnight on Saturday with the countdown to the top spot live on the radio this Sunday.
