West Bromwich Albion are searching for a new manager after Steve Clarke was sacked at the weekend.

Martin Jol, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Roberto Di Matteo are all in the running for the manager role at The Hawthorns.

Andre Villas-Boas is also on the cards for the job after he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur this morning.

Martin Jol

Martin Jol has managed four clubs during his managerial career: Tottenham, Hamburg, Ajax and Fulham. Jol was sacked as manager of Fulham earlier this month. During his time there, he managed 113 games, winning 38, drawing 28 and losing 47. Jol is a former West Brom player so he is no stranger at The Hawthorns.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Former Manchester United hero Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also in the running for the Baggies job. The 40-year-old played for United during their treble season in 1999, scoring in the Champions League Final against Bayern Munich.

Roberto Di Matteo has emerged as another favourite to return as West Bromwich Albion manager. The Italian managed the Baggies from 2009-2011, taking the club into the Premier League, before he was sacked after a run of poor form. The 43-year-old went on to manage Chelsea where he guided the club to their first ever Champions League win as well as an FA Cup victory.
