New Street Station commuters largely welcome changes
Commuters this morning have largely welcomed the major changes to Birmingham's new Street Station.
It's the first day of commuting since the new half of the station, including a new concourse, opened.
Most people have told ITV News Central that it is a big improvement. Some have said they have been confused about finding their way between platforms or to new exits and entrances.
Most feel it is brighter and cleaner though others say they still feel a bit hemmed in.
A huge new atrium with sky views won't open until the end of phase two in 2015. Network Rail, who expect 60,000 commuters today, say they have had a lot of positive feedback with very few problems.
