Conference title race goes down to final day
Kidderminster Harriers have moved back to the top of the Conference Premier league with just one week remaining. They beat Wrexham by two goals to one, putting them within striking distance of a return to the Football League.
However the single promotion spot and league title remains in the hands of fellow Midlands side Mansfield Town. They lost 2-1 at Braintree today, but have one game more than Kidderminster left to play. If they win both, they will overtake Harriers to win the league
Whatever happens in Mansfield's midweek game at Hereford, the title chase will now be decided on the final day of the season next Saturday when Mansfield play Wrexham at home and Kidderminster entertain Stockport.
Whichever team finishes second will have to enter the play-offs alongside Newport, Wrexham and Grimsby.
