Inquest reopens into Red Arrow pilot's death
The inquest into the death of a Red Arrows pilot from Rutland, who died after performing at an air show last year, is due to resume today.
Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging, 33 was killed when his Hawk T1 aircraft came down near Bournemouth Airport in Dorset on 20 August 2011.
Three months later his death was followed by another tragedy, when his colleague Sean Cunningham also died, after being ejected from his plane on the runway.
The inquest into Flight Lieutenant Egging was opened and adjourned in August 2011.
It is due to resume from 10:00 today and is expected to last for up to two days.
