Prince Edward will open the new Academy in Telford Credit: PA

The Earl of Wessex is to open a state-of-the-art Academy in Telford today (11 October).

The Abraham Darby Academy in Madeley has been open since the middle of July to students and staff.

Prince Edward will arrive by helicopter to tour the Academy and will visit the classrooms and other facilities.
