The MP for Sherwood, Mark Spencer, is leading calls for the board of Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the Trust responsible for King's Mill Hospital, to step down following the revelation that 79 women allegedly had their cases of breast cancer mistreated between 2004 and 2010 including reports of administering chemotherapy treatment to women who did not have cancer.

All the women who were mistreated have been notified.

The news comes following the revelation that the board failed to manage their PFI payments properly. Another issue Mark Spencer has raised concerns about.
