Man charged with murder over Walsall deaths

A 43-year-old man has been charged with murder following the discovery of two bodies at a block of flats in Walsall over the weekend.

The man was arrested on Saturday (October 6) following the discovery of two bodies.

One was the body of a 69-year-old who has been named as Pauline Gillian, who was found inside a flat.

The second body was of a man believed to be in his 40s and has not yet been formally identified, he was found at the back of apartments on Acacia Avenue.

Pauline Gillian's family described her today as:

Post-mortem examinations revealed that both of the victims died as a result of multiple stab wounds.

Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
