Leads in vicious traffic warden attack

Leicestershire Police say they have had some information about a vicious, karate style attack on a traffic warden following two national appeals.

The attack on the traffic warden was caught on CCTV by a local shopkeeper.

It happened in when the council traffic warden was going about his business in the Braunstone Gate area of Leicester.

The attackers ran off towards a nearby Tesco supermarket but within minutes a number of Good Samaritans had come to the traffic warden's aid and stayed with him until paramedics arrived.

Police are hoping someone will recognize the three attackers who put a man in hospital who was simply doing his job.
