Birmingham Airport suspends flights as plane leaves runway

All flights have been suspended from Birmingham Airport after a plane skidded off of the runway.

Monarch flight ZB467 arrived from Nice at 13.11hrs today, as the plane was taxiing down the runway it skidded off onto the grass.

Birmingham Airport released this statement:

The Airport say all passengers are unharmed and have been transferred to the terminal where they are awaiting their luggage.

It is not known when flights will resume.
