The latest edition of the Guinness World Records book has been published revealing that the Midlands has some of the worlds largest items, including the garden spade.
The Guinness World Records, the global authority on record breaking achievements, first published the best-selling book in 1955 and has sold more than 120 million copies.
This year has increased the boundaries of record breaking, presenting a wide spectrum of records from all over the globe.
Steve Ward from Nottingham has clinched the title of Oldest Active Boxer. He was fifty five when he fought his most recent match in Chesterfield.
