The German-born Kindred is one half of Paralympics GB's 'golden couple' along with his wife Nyra. Kindred is one of the team's most experienced competitors, having made his debut in Atlanta in 1996. He is also one of the most successful with six golds already to his name. Kindred begins his campaign today by hoping to retain his 100m breastroke title. He has already spoken of his excitement at performing in front of his home crowd.
