Double Olympic champion Mo Farah has told the media in Birmingham his life has changed 'beyond belief' since winning two gold medals at the London Olympics and now becoming a father to twins.

At a launch event of the Birmingham Aviva grand Prix this morning, the long distance runner announced his wife Tania gave birth last night.

She was seen cheering him on while heavily pregnant during the London Olympics three weeks ago when Mo won the 10,000 metres. A week later he went on to scoop gold in the 5,000 metre race.

At the time he dedicated both medal wins to the then unborn children.

Mo says since the wins people have been constantly wanting to stop and chat to him and congratulate him.

This morning he also said the athletics crowds in Birmingham are hugely supportive, and is looking forward to competing in tomorrow's event..
