Cher Lloyd, the Malvern girl who rose to fame on X Factor in 2010, was booed off stage during her performance at V Festival, yesterday.

The 19-year-old, from Worcestershire, had been booed by parts of the crowd during her first song but then left the stage half way through her second song after a glass bottle of urine was thrown at her.

The "Swagger Jagger" singer was reportedly seen backstage crying before she composed herself and headed back out onto stage to complete her set.

More bottles were thrown later and she was advised by her management to finish her set early for her own safety.
