Leicester's Jon Schofield is celebrating after taking bronze during yesterday's men's 200m K2 kayaking final, alongside teammate Liam Health, at Eton Dorney.

Jon Schofield trains at the Soar Valley Canoe Club in Leicester and also graduated from Loughborough University in 2010, where he studies Human Biology.

After being cheered on by a packed crowd, which included Prime Minster David Cameron, the pair were edged behind by the Belarus team who took silver, and the Russian duo who finished with gold medals.
