Flood defence used only two days after opening
A flood defence wall, which cost £4 million, has already been used in Worcestershire, just days after its official opening.
The flood gates protecting the town of Upton upon Severn, were closed by the Environment Agency, after water started to rise today.
The official opening of the wall took place on Friday by MP Harriett Baldwin
The town has flooded 70 times in the last 40 years and has had the reputation of being the most flooded town in Britain.
