The Queen’s Visit To The West Midlands – Day Two
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh continue their two-day visit to the West Midlands today, as part of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee Tour.
It follows the Royal Party visited Hereford and Worcester visiting on Wednesday.
Today they will start with a walkabout in Birmingham’s Victoria Square and will receive a gift from the city.
Her Royal Highness will then officially open the hospital which bears her name, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, which received its first inpatient in June 2010.
The Queen and Duke will then attend the Shropshire Diamond Jubilee Pageant at RAF Cosford, as well as a tour of the RAF Museum and Airfield.
