The next band of rain pushes through this morning
Same old, same old today. Another wet one. Very similar to yesterday.
The next area of rain pushes into SW England and Wales this morning and it won’t be long before it reaches the West Midlands, and then spreads to all parts.
It brings with ita warmer air mass so that means more mist and fog expected round hills. It’ll be breezy and cloudy today with outbreaks of rain, some heavy.
Some places like Lincolnshire may see a glimmer of sun, but that in turn will only spark a sharp shower so it is of little benefit.
Temperatures could rise to the low 20’s c in any brighter slots, but will generally settle around 19c, 66f, a couple of degrees below average for the time of year.
So a grey, wet Tuesday with more organised rain, but turning more showery for the rest of the week.
Wednesday through to Friday we are forecasting some bright spells, showers – some heavy and thundery, and there is the possibility of localised flooding.
Grass pollen counts will be low in the rain and showers, rising to moderate in any drier, brighter spells.
