12-year-old Ella Smallwood from Nottingham will be carrying the torch through Mansfield on June 28th. Ella, who is a pupil at the Arnold Hill Academy, loves sport and has scored more than 50 goals for her team this season.

She was nominated for her courage and bravery following the tragic death of her mother from cancer last year.

She says she will carry the Olympic flame in her mother's memory, an honour she says would have made her very proud.
