17 year old Anick Soni has been a member of Leicester's Youth Parliament for three years. He is described as being fully committed to changing the lives of other young people in the city.

He has been a presenter on Leicester's Takeover Radio for 9 years, which he uses to engage with young people in the city.

In 2011 Anick organised "Takeover Leicester", which saw hundreds of people in try out jobs at the council and various business across the city.

Anick will carry the Olympic torch in Leicester on July 3rd.
