Two sentenced over Canning Circus 'riot'

Two youths have each been sentenced to a 12 month youth custody detention and training order at Nottingham Youth Court today, following their involvement in a Nottingham 'riot'.

Keenan Bispham (16) of Collison Street, Hyson Green and Romario Watson (17) of Beckley Road, Broxtowe were found guilty of riot after they were part of a group who threw petrol bombs at Canning Circus police station and damaged vehicles around 10pm on 9th August 2011 following a trial in May this year.

Fourteen other people were sentenced for between 14 years and six months at a hearing earlier this month.
