West Brom's Chris Wood will play for New Zealand at the Olympics

West Bromwich Albion striker Chris Wood has been called up by New Zealand for the Olympics.

New Zealand's first match is against Belarus at the City of Coventry Stadium on 26th July.

The 20 year old has already scored 7 times in 24 appearances for his country. Wood spent last season on loan at Birmingham City and Bristol City. He scored 12 goals in 42 appearances in the Championship as well as bagging a couple in the Europa League with Birmingham.
