Bmibaby to end some services today
Low cost airline Bmibaby is to end all flights to and from its Belfast base today as the airline sets to close in September, after failing to find a buyer.
Services from East Midlands to Amsterdam, Nice, Geneva, Edinburgh, Paris, Newquay and Glasgow as well as flights from Birmingham to Amsterdam and Knock also cease from today.
Mainline services to London Heathrow are unaffected and will continue.
Nineteen additional Bmibaby routes will continue to operate from East Midlands Airport for the summer period as well as an additional ten routes from Birmingham Airport.
