More showers today but will it be fine for the Diamond Jubilee weekend?
Shock to the system this morning. More cloud. More showers.
Today will also feel noticeably cooler than yesterday. There however is alot of uncertainty attached to the Bank Holiday weekend outlook.
This morning, all parts will see rain, not a great start to the day.
The rain and drizzle will be light and persistent, pushing northwards during the afternoon, never amounting to too much.
Look at our temperatures though, 16 or 17c as opposed to yesterday’s 21c.
Friday should be cloudy with occasional drizzle but it will be an improving situation.
High pressure should then start building in to give a more settled Saturday.
This looks like being the best day of the extended Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend; mostly dry with sunny spells, feeling cooler than 16c along the east coast.
Sunday should be mostly dry with sunny spells but also the risk of scattered showers.
There is considerable uncertainty over this part of the forecast, as there is for Monday.
Monday’s forecast almost replicates Sunday’s; but again uncertain, it depends where the rain ends up.
Right now it looks like being cloudier and generally dry.
