Cloudy and showery

It's still feeling warm today with temperatures expected to reach 22 Celsius but as you may have noticed we no longer have the blue sky and wall to wall sunshine, there is more in the way of cloud.

We can't rule out the chance of an occasional shower today either, but they will be very few and far between.

The shower risk will decrease tonight and it will remain dry and mild everywhere, it will feel more comfortable than previous nights too, less humid.

Tomorrow morning we start with sunny spells but the showers will begin to break out through the morning and become more widespread in the afternoon.

Because the wind is light the showers will be slow moving and potentially heavy and thundery too, good news for the gardens!

Thursday looks to be a similar day, the heavy showers more prone to eastern areas before the weather begins to settled down for Friday and the weekend.

Good news if you are planning a jubilee event, so far the bank holiday weekend looks dry but quite cloudy and much cooler than the past week.
