Pair arrested for speed camera arson

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection to an arson attack on a speed camera in Lincolnshire.

Ashley Rowlands, 29, and Anthony Luty, 22, were arrested after a lengthy covert investigation following the arson attack at the Hemswell camera site in October 2011.

Officers seized evidence at the scene and as a result of intelligence received over a number of months have charged Rowlands with arson and conspiracy to commit arson whilst Luty has been charged will conspiracy to commit arson and perverting the course of justice.

Both men have been bailed to appear before Magistrates on June 12th.
