Diamond Jubilee service at Lincoln Cathedral

Lincoln Cathedral will be holding a service today to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Thousands of ticket-holders are expected to attend the service this afternoon which will be led by the Dean of Lincoln, The Very Revd Philip Buckler. The Bishop of Lincoln and the College of Canons will also participate.

Lincoln Cathedral's world-famous choir will sing Handel's Zadok the Priest, which was sung at the Queen's coronation. They will also sing a piece from a new book of anthems, commissioned to celebrate the jubilee.

Admission to the service is by ticket only.
